Forebay Thursday 10/5

I'll be there as close to first light as I can with various types of equip (fly, spin, cast) and the (dog if the weather's good).  I may have to bring a pad for a nap if it's going to be an all day affair.  I know a killer taco joint in the bathrooms (los banos) for lunch as well.

Your call on the time. I am going to launch around 1300-1400. Done the early AM thing there and it is never as good as the afternoon and evening in my experience. If I can get it together, I may pack a big lunch and fish dawn to dusk though. Otherwise its the afternoon and evening bite for me. I'll hail you all on CH 69 when I arrive.

  AACK!  I'll make it late if at all...Prior committments that had slipped my mind seem to have come back to the forefront....  I'll try to make it for the sunset bite.

I plan on going tomorow and will post a scouting report in the evening.

Please do.  A wind report will be quite welcome.

I think the storm is going to stretch into Thursday and could make the place really howl. Be sure to call the wind line. But it worth a shot if its calm--could be epic top water.

I, unfortunately, will not get to go having even lined up a sitter for the kids Thu evening siince wifey has a meeting. We are down one person at work and schedules have been pushed up. So taking Thursday off is getting tough. I have to give advance notice to the sitter so have to let her off the hook today. Man...

I'm not liking the look of the satellite photo right now.  Looks at though the front is gonna go right over the lake mid afternoon......

No matter what the winds does.  If you launch from the main launch.  It is near the Family Camping area on the other side of the forebay.  It is near the hills and not near the power lines or the old launch.  This place is protected.
