A Good Place for Fish and Chips in Fort Bragg

If you're in town and need a casual place to eat,  Sea-Pal Cove Restaurant is the place.  It's down in the harbor. You sit at picnic tables on the dock, around a huge fire pit made out of the top of an old boiler.  And best of all the fish is really good--and I'm a snob about fish.  Don't let it bother you that they're also the folks that make Sea-Pal fish emulsion fertilizer 

My wife and I ate there last night and it was really fun.  Lots of families, and the commercial salmon fleet was in for the weekend, so there were deckhands wandering around all over the place.  Really nice folks.

I came in earlier today on my yak with a 15lb Chrome and all the deckhands were giving me hoots--it was fun.  The boats are all tied up three and four across.  It was great to see our working harbor, well, working.

+1 on the recommendation, they do good fish fry. Most of the tables are old cable spools, and there are usually a few local characters, too. Fun place!

Thanks for the recommendation.  Every time we go to the harbor my wife makes me take her to Captain Flints for the shrimp wantons.  Its good to try new places that come with good reviews.

No worries    I live about a half block from Ricarda's, so yeah, it's also a good spot.

I love this place too!

I also love North Coast Brewery! MMMM Beer!

I had a killer crab sandwich at EggHeads last time I was in FB.


I'm writing these down for the next trip through Bragg. It's like banking WAF.
