are they standard?

My 2014 has them but I intend to add a few pool noodles.

Hobie installs them to make the boats more rigid. They perform a structural function and should be left inside the boat. If you have to remove them to install track then put them back into position after you are finishing. I would have expected the dealer to have provided you with that information.
