I bought a standard Horizon radio a little over three years ago and it would not work the  last time. I cleaned up the connections and tried again , still no good. I open it up and the inside was totally corroded. So I thought I would send it in even though the warranty was for 3 years and  I was 22 days out of warranty. Just got the new one today at no charge to me. Jut thought I would write this incase any is thinking abut buying any equipment, Standard Horizon took care of me.

Dont leave the batteries in when you are storing the unit. It will seriously corrode the unit
