I think that I will tempt fate a second time and see if I can actually make a successful surf launch this time.  I will be launching around 8:00am if anyone cares to come and join me, or you can even come to watch the spectacle.  I'm sure it will be a blast either way.  The more the merrier!!  :smt005

Just a heads up YakinGal, weather looks a bit rough for this weekend...

.FRI NIGHT...NW WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 5 FT. NW SWELL
5 TO 7 FT.
.SAT...NW WINDS 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 4 TO 6 FT. NW SWELL 5 TO 7
FT.
.SUN...NW WINDS 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 6 FT. NW SWELL 4 TO 6
FT.

You could get a report on surf conditions Friday afternoon from a Pacifica NCKAer, and if it's too rough you might check out HMB instead, although outside the protected waters it will still likely be dicey.  I'm staying in for a break this weekend til the weather lays down a bit....  I hear that Linda Mar is usually challenging even in lighter weather...  Definitely wouldn't go alone, for sure.

Thanks for the heads up Craig!  :smt003  I wasn't going to go alone, I was going to drag the husband along with me.   :smt003  I think I might just change locations if the swells are going to be so big.  I heard all about Mr. Shark out in Bean Hollow and I really don't want to tip and come Face To Face with one this time either!  :smt009

Do you have any suggesstions on which area would be the best besides HMB?

Well...  this particular weekend I might suggest a flea market, hehe.  It looks like it's going to be less than friendly all over.  If you want to fish, perhaps morning on San Pablo Bay, depending on the tides.  Maybe anchor up around the pumphouse or find out where the stripers are...

Maybe another NCKA'er will have a suggestion, or you may keep an eye on the hookups board...  I am not such a freshwater guy, myself, but if you wanna get out on the water it may be your best bet this weekend.

You can bookmark this for weather...  other suggestions may be found on the board
