Im looking for a Ram insert into a Scotty mount. Ive seen an expandable insert type, but no regular splined model like Scotty would normally accept. Is there one made?

This is a RAM-351U.  I think they made another one that bolted straight through the ball and through the scotty mount.

The RAM expandable ball mount for the Hobie sail mast has a tab that fits into the Scotty notch to keep it from spinning.  Once inserted and locked down, you don't need the spline part to rotate it because it's a ball.   :smt003

Didn't know that existed!  I'll have to try it out.  Thanks.
