Bob-the first few rains won't do anything, it won't shut down til the lake gets real dirty around early Dec.

That made my day, Sean!  Especially since I wasn't able to see the last one for some reason.  Scratched my striper itch just enough to get me through the work week.

Hey Sean.  Do you have pics of your helmet cam set-up?  Is it expensive?

Chuck-I got the helmet cam from Viosport, its around $350, but you need a camcorder and some other stuff to go with it.  The camcorder also has to have certain input jacks etc.  I put the whole thing in a tupperware and then in the fish hatch.  The Dorado makes the ideal setup because of the layout, the micorphone and LANC end up in just the right spot...its also perfect for running down boils!

I'll take some pics of the whole deal this week.

Hopefully only 2 more weeks on the garage redo.  You are killing me!!!  WAF should be back up to par by then.

Sean - Cool stuff! I thought it was kind of amussing that you had a head mounted video cam and NO PLIERS! I hope to get up there soon and try my luck. Can the boils happen all day this time of year or do you still need to be on the water early or late in the day? Tom

Pelican- It changes as the year progresses...starts out as early/late and then eventually turns into a mid-day thing, but it is effected by weather etc.  If you want to give it a try let me know, I'd be glad to show you the way.
