Hey guys I'm thinking about taking a trip down to La Paz in mid September as soon  as the fishing season up here in Alaska ends. I was wondering if anyone has made the run with their kayaks and if they could offer any suggestions especially places to fish along the way. Also anyone who would like to make the trip is welcome, lets start a caravan. :smt044

I've made a few trips down that way with kayaks.  Have gone as far south as Cabo.  I'm interested in joining your caravan in Sept.  I can suggest places to fish and places to AVOID.  Definitely something to look forward to.

Very cool.....interested next time around since I'll be there on Thursday for 2 weeks already.

It's going to be hot! Hot ! HOT! in Sept and its also hurricane season.
So the water and road conditions can be very sketchy during that time.
There is currently two hurricanes off the tip of Baja right now that are going to bring some early rain fall while I'm there.

I speak from experience been in a total of 5 hurricanes down there all in September  :smt009

But that never stopped me.......been to some awesome hurricane parties

Thanks for the heads up on the hurricanes didn't know about that. I think I'll still be heading down, possibly again in December after elk season ends.

December is much nicer weather wise. Might even need a jacket at night.

December is kite surfing and sailboarding time on the East Cape.  More time spent on beach waiting for calm.

Just an update guys looks like the September trip isn't going to work, talked with my boss in Colorado and he needs me up there before I was planning. When elk season ends in November I'll defiantly be heading down possibly for several months, again all are welcome.
