I have seen many parasitic isopods living inside fish mouths and gills. I am sure most of you have too. I read an interesting article about them and thought some of you might find it interesting too.

One of the lings I caught at Shelter Cove had some type of parasites attached to its gill plates.  Wish I knew then what I know now, I would have looked more closely at its mouth.
