This ad is showing up occasionally in the Google Adwords in the Sponsored Links section.

They really know how to target their market.

This has been mentioned a few times here. I believe they probably pay extra to have their ad on fishing sites.  This PETA campaign also likes to put up billboards on the way to popular fishing lakes of dogs with hooks in their mouths.

From what I know of the members I've met so far, I doubt they'll be converting any of us.

The NCKA website gets money from PETA everytime we click on their add.   I say we start a campaign such that everyone on this board promises to click on this PETA ad every time it shows up.  We'll either make Bill a lot of money or they will pull their ad.

Here's a link to a previous post about this...

The cool thing is that everytime I go to this link I find that the "fishing hurts" ad shows up.  Probably becuase the words "fishing hurts" are in the ad.

Bill, let us know if you get an extra surge of PETA money this month.

Maybe we clicked so much they pulled their ad.  I think there is a way for advertisers to place a limit on how much they're willing to spend per site.

Eitherway, if they ever post an ad here again, I'm clicking early and clicking often.

I just found the add on the Fishing Reports page and clicked through many times.  I hope it helps.  Man, I can not believe some of the junk they are putting out there.
