I'm by no means a Striper expert but here's the knowledge that's been passed to me from the NCKA elders. As far as bait, live minnows seem to do pretty well. All the big Stripers @ Mendo were on them. I think people pretty much had a dropshot with the Minnow @ the end. If you wanna go with lures RatL Traps, Hair Rasers, Crocodiles, swimbaits, and Kastmasters do well. They all can be trolled or casted into a boil if you find one.

Do they sell minnows at the shop?  Where else do some of you go buy bait around Del Valle?
