I am researching my fish finder purchase and i am seeking the list if lakes that are included in the lowrance chart plotter package.  Does any one have the list?

Essentially i am looking for: lake sonoma, clear lake, berryessa, tahoe, french, fordyce.

If you are looking at the Lowrance line, the answer is YES ... BUT the detail is basic.  My suggestion is to NOT buy the Gold Chip package of the unit & put the difference of $$ towards the Lowrance Lake Insight PRO V14 chip which has GREAT coverage of most every lake in the USA.  A TON more this year in High-Def.  Cost is ~$100.

Can that chip be used in any of the lowrance plotters?

I believe so.  Which model do you have?

nothing yet, I was looking at the elite 4 HDI, but I have a buddy who has an elite 5 on a power boat, would be nice to use it on his rig as well.
