Going camping at Pinecrest lake 6/6-6/9.. Has anyone fish this lake? I'm planning on taking my kayak and planning to fish for trout.. Any tips would be Great!!!

Fish the inlet - powerbait, worms, salmon eggs, etc. 

Trolling works well too. 

They plant tons of fish and usually they aren't hard to catch.  Size might be an issue though as many of the fish are in the 10-12" range.

Exactly what i was going to say.

camped there last summer. and we limited out on powerbait there. can also troll too for more fun. was on a boat but explored in the kayak for a little
we went right after it was stocked though.

I heard fish up to 12#s were planted,not sure how true that is. But I saw pics of fish 6# plus pulled this week.

Glad to see this post. I'm hoping to slay some trout up there this weekend with my daughter. Hopefully everything will be perfect up there this weekend. I haven't been there since I did some soil testing and asphalt testing when they redone the bathrooms and walkways. I made sure they built the foundation right even though one of the bathrooms they tried to hide a failure
