Gifting Age Limit

Question: If I want to gift abalone to a family member, is there a minimum age limit? (Bobby E.)

Answer: No. You are allowed to donate no more than one legal limit to anyone regardless of their age.

I donate abs all the time to my 2 year old...and she actually LOVES eating them.

As long as the person you gifted the abs to does not have more than one limit in possession and the abs are still tagged and in shell my understanding is that is all you need...

No written note needed since the tag has all the info of who took it and when etc...
