Hey guys (and gals),

I'm a newbie to this kayaking thing, and I was wondering what would be the best place to fish, camp and of course kayak this time of year.  We want to go from Sunday 10/20 to Tuesday 10/22.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!  :smt006

Thanks,

Mary

Mary,

Are you interested in freshwater or saltwater?
If freshwater, do you want a river or a lake?
Back country or organized campground?
Do you want to drive to a campground and do some kayaking/fishing nearby or do you want to paddle to your campground?

There are a lot of options out there, if you have any specific ideas in mind, I'm sure someone here can help you narrow your choice down.

Hey Brian  :smt006

Thanks for making me realize that I should have put some "specs" on what I'm looking for.  As long as the fishing is good and there is a place close by that we can throw down a tent, the rest will be great.

Thanks,

Mary

This is the best deal in Monterey if you would like to head down this way.

Saltwater is the cure for everything that ails us,
sweat, tear or the sea.
