I fished the port this AM.  I launched at 6:30 at low tide.  I tried for bass under the docks but couldn’t find any takers.  I brought some minnows so my next stop was by the boat club and there’s where I stayed for a few hours with the stripers slashing the bait driving them up on top.  The fish that didn’t take a minnow fell to a Rat L Trap.  Soon it was all over and I trolled down to the cement plant without a hit.  The tide topped out and that was all she wrote.  I ended the day at noon with 5 to the boat and 2 lost “real damn close”.  All the fish were 16 inches with a couple around 14 inches.  Too small to take but loads of fun on light tackle.  I tried out my FF recently returned from repair and it seems to have other issues.  S***!  I did find the sailing rudder that I recently installed preformed magnificently.  Here’s a few photos to share…

What a morning.

I'll see you again......when you grow up!

You too!
