Wow I have burnt out at least 3 of them, but I use it a bunch.

Vacuum pump still strong, seal strip good and lock clamps all good. However the power button if I don't push it just right. Never used the new models, not sure one can over ride the vacuum shut down on the new stuff.

Have one, works good for what I need but it isn't the best. Maybe 1/10 bags come open and are trashed.

we paid a lot more for the full pull at costco..129? i think.....but never looked back...came with tons of bags is super good quality and is the bomb...I would steer away from any ones that dont have good reviews..not saying this one is shit..but my buddies all told me get the costco big one and be done with it..if it breaks..take it  back...but it has not broke and is like new and love it...I've done like 50 bags and not once had a glitch

Thanks, for posting that. Grabbed one in the last 30 mins. Been putting off buying one for awhile now. Hopefully it's not junk. A coworker told me just last week that he's owned more expensive ones and cheaper ones and preferred just a basic set up for ease of use. Something about too many buttons and stuff he'll never use. We'll see!
