Where is a good place to by a life jacket in the South Bay?
What type do you recommend for the salt?

Thanks

I don't know where to buy down there, but I like my Stohlquist Fisherman a lot.

I like the NRS C-vest doesn't get to much mention in the fishing community. It's the best vest I have tried.

Yeah, south bay is tough.  REI in Saratoga?  Aquan in San Carlos? Or over the hill to Santa Cruz?  Or even farther to Monterey?

Asking about PFDs is like asking about yaks, what fits one may not fit another.  But since you asked (:smt003), I love my Kokatat Bahia Tour.

Nope.  Sadly, they only have junk.

+1 for REI.  Yeah, South Bay is tough.  We need a kayak store here.  Come on Dan, franchise The Headwaters!

yeah, REI in Saratoga/San Jose has a decent wall of pfd's including at least one "angler" model.

Stohlquest fisherman XL used for $50 at GS8 if intersted. One season on it in good shape. Only reason to sell is I have new vest from Extrasport .
