Wanted to let everyone know Hobie has released a new rudder for the pro angler to address its tracking & turning issues. Discussion thread is at the hobie pro angler forum. Its only 26$ and apparently is a great improvement. Ask your dealer or order online, any questions just ask ... ;)

I think everyone is out of stock currently...I'm hoping to score one from Headwaters when they come in (hopefully before GM8)

I got three from ACK a while back.  They work great.  The rudder protrudes somewhat, so lifting the bow up high on hard surfaces may damage it.

Oh man just what I needed ! I went out to the SF bay near Tiburon on Friday and wow between the wind and waves and currents I could not steer left  :smt001 So didn't last to long on the water before turning in and have been scheming on how to improve the current one( was thinking of making a extension or some sleeve I could add to it. Sound like Prob solved !! Now Im hoping to find one before GS8 . Thanks for the Post and info !!!!!

Well then you got 3 of 17 that exist. Hobie had problems with the full shipment and all the blades were warped in shipping. It's going to be a month or so before these hit the shelves. I have a stack on order in Redding.
