Andy pretty much always launches CG or San Carlos Beach - wish I could go, but not likely.

I think MBK launch is better! At least we can wash everything down at MBK when you get back in. Just MHO!

Made it to Carmel in the slop on 0503 in da boat.  Couldn't keep the lings off,  musta boated 25 in first 2 hours.  Kept biggest 10 for limits for the five of us, my father, brother, a friend and my 8 year old son.  Almost all of em were keepers, only caught about 7 cod.  Tried to repeatedly look for different areas to fish for rock cod, kept hooking more lings. Probably hooked another 15 lings.   Finished the day with @ 40 rock cod in the box.
Biggest ling went 28 pds.  Was my fathers pb at 28 pds and 20 pds.  My son was upset he lost the bet for biggest fish but made it up for winning for most lings, he caught 9.  i was proud of him.
Never seen ling fishing that good.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”
