I read his obit seems he had a full life with lots of accomplishments you must be proud. God blessed your family to have a man like this. I know I had the same kind of father. I am sorry for your loss.

God bless

Phil,
I am always here when you are ever ready to just vent or talk about anything. Almost a year to date I lost a dear family member and know first hand that we all deal with grief differently. I was greatfull to have friends and family there to help me deal with the grief in my own way. Any time you are welcome to contact me to talk and dont ever forget that. All the respect to your Dad for his service and to your Family in these tough times. Be strong as you can brother, we are here for you when you need. You and yours are in my prayers.

Looks like you dad endured much during WW11. I hope he was able to make it to washington DC to the ww11 memorial. My father wasn't or didn't live to know much about it. My father-in law didn't make it either due to cancer. Looks like he did have a long life and I pray he never suffered any during his last years.

The horrors your father suffered in wartime, meant he was  blessed in peacetime by a loving wife and family. You honor his memory as only a son can.  God spped to you and your family.
