My buckle took a shit on me and now I'm looking for a replacement. I checked the big hardware stores but none stock them. I was about to steal one off their shopping carts  :smt044. I think rei does?

Henry loves riding in shopping carts.  Buckling up is perhaps his favorite part, or perhaps me unbuckling it, or buckling it....

I bought a food grade 5 gallon at Smart & Final Grocery store chain, not cheap though.  I thought Lowes and Home Depot has 5 gallon buckets too?

Try this: http://www.strapworks.com/Side_Release_Buckles_s/40.htm

They have about every kind of buckle and strapping you can imagine. Also in metal too.

If you happen to break the side with the sewn in loop, then you should get the double adjust ones and just loop them on. I think these are the way to go.
