Recently I made a post here asking about Dennis since the gear I ordered from him hadn't shown up in two months.

Happy to report that I now have the stuff in hand.  Perhaps partly due to the posting and response I got here.

When I got the package yesterday it was huge, taking up much of a box from a hot water heater unit.

I think much of the problem may have just been "inertia" because it was a job to package, manhandle and ship.

My thanks to this website and its posters.

From here on I will be lurking and posting happy stuff with photos of fish.

I live within 60 miles of five Indian casinos here in southwest Michigan.  The saying is:

First the Indians got all the whitefish, then the lake trout, now they are getting the suckers.

I'm happy to see them make money but personally, when I take a one hundred dollar bill into a casino I may or may not leave happy.  but when I take that same one hundred dollar bill into a Bass Pro Shop I ALWAYS leave happy!

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
