Sorry no exciting pics..just the lowdown. Out close near Jones Valley on Sunday afternoon/evening on my Jackson Cuda 12. Caught maybe a dozen spots on secret agents. I just needed water therapy. Beautiful sunset with a great moon. Went out today with a friend and his son in his new Bass Tracker 17 Pro. Great boat! Phil must of caught 50 fish or it seemed that way. It was becoming a joke that if he did not have a fish on every cast the fish must be off. I maybe caught a dozen and his son probably twice that all on plastics. I know what I am buying :smt001

Sounds like a couple of good days on the water. The lake is red hot right now, that's the lesson we got from Jesse, if he wasn't catching anything, they weren't there!!!

Nicely done Dave! I'll be out there Friday for dad/kids day, and have a slim shot of a solo run Thursday to "scout it out"....in case you can get back out there!

Ben fish the trees, I was catching two fish per minnow. Every drop was a fish, just lost a few in the trees.

Let's hope the bite will last for awhile. Forgot to mention Phillip caught a sizable trout and had another shake off with the same plastic. How fun! I will not be able to go out until the weekend zoo. :smt006

Where is a good place to launch if coming from the Yreka area? Would like to try this lake out but even though the level is low, it's still a big body of water.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Nice, did you try the trees for suspended fish ? Jessie schooled them on that one.

Glad someone has fun catching fish.  Thanks for the report Dave.
