I'm just gettin into this kayak thing, demo'n boats and reading whats out there - just ordered Spike's kayak fishing DVD. Anyhow, it seems there are two basic types of touring paddles - the narrower type for a lower stroke angle - supposed to be better for covering water, and the wider type for more power in the stroke - maybe better for surf conditions. I'm leaning twords the low angle style since I plan on inshore fishing around the Bay and will need to go a few miles. I'm looking at a Werner Camano, I like the looks and the weight is good. I'm also wondering what you guys on this board are using  for most of your fishing trips. Many of you, I'm sure, have more than one paddle. Any info greatly appreciated.                                                                                                                                                    Also, Does anyone use a bent shaft paddle? Are these really easier on the joints?
