My Monday off..hit Dillon Beach @ 9-9:30 am,  overcast with a very light breeze no one there yet....fished about 45mins-1hr.till first bite hit...landed 3 prett quickly..then died off for a while. Wind and sun showed up, put 4 more in the box after that .. used plastics ;sand worm in camo and penny colors scented with grass shrimp , my TFO 7'3'' ML with 10#test on a Quantum Accurist AC100spt ,8#leader material w/#6 Gamakatsu baitholder hooks... gotta love mondays

Nice job VK.  Are those Barred Perch?  I'm fishing Doran on Thurs using the same stuff; ie plastic sand worms and oil can grubs.  I hope to have similar results.  Thanks for the post.

Red Tailed have a minimun size of 10.5 inches.  And my god are the F&G vigilant if they are there.  I saw them going over a boat at Nick's Cove a few weeks ago. The had a pick up filled with confiscated clams and gear (for going over the limit by a few) and were checking every clam, crab, and ghost shrimp on the boat that came in.  Any slight infraction can lead to gear confiscation, the entire catch, loss of fishing rights for a year,  and huge fines.  For me, I throw anything back if its on the edge, not worth the big fines and loss of gear.
