Greetings everyone!

I'm glad I'm able to be a part of this forum finally! I'm looking to learn all I can and I'm hoping there are some anglers from the Humboldt area! Specifically I live in Arcata. I'd really like to learn some tips and advice for saltwater fishing, as I've done mostly freshwater for most of my life. I think the first thing I'd like to try is surf fishing for perch! I've been doing a little research into the length of a rod and the pound test line I should use.

Anyway thanks for having me! Some day I'd like to venture out into ocean kayaking also!

Hey there I also live in arcata and am new to kayak fishing. I'm going to try out the lagoons up north in the next week as I kill time until rockfish season. But welcome, people here are very friendly
Work is for people who don't know how to fish
