A buddy of mine is looking for his first kayak.  His budget is limited ($400 or so) and just wants to get into something that can kick start the madness.  He lives in Roseville and probably wouldn't travel much out of the sac area.  If anyone on here has a loaner kayak they want to part with or is looking to upgrade and has something to get rid of shoot me a pm or reply here.

I saw a Necky Cruiser ($300) on craigslist for sale that is right around the corner from his house that he may look at tonight, but I don't know much about them.  Any intel on that particular model would be appreciated.

Thanks
Casey

Saw this for sale on CL.  Lives in the Sacramento area - Asking $500 for an Ascend fs125t.

Good luck with your search.

I think you have to get used to all yaks. They all have a tipping point. Being I only weigh 135. I have never reached the tipping point. except when I come thru the surf. Guaranteed wipe out. So I store as much as possible, or tie it down.
