April Fools' prank lands woman in jail

What a dumb ass 


Everyone loves a good April Fools' Day prank, but this woman took it way too far.
On Tuesday morning in Spartanburg, North Carolina, more than a dozen deputies responded to call from a woman claiming there was a school shooting at Virginia College.
The woman told police that her mother sent her a text message explaining that shots had been fired on the campus, where her mother works.
When she responded to her mother's text, her mother did not answer, and therefore she phoned the police. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and found everything to be okay.
It was discovered that the mother, 54-year-old Angela Timmons, had been playing an April Fools' joke on her daughter.
"Text someone and tell them their tire's flat, that's funny," Sheriff Chuck Wright told WIS-TV. "We're talking about death. It's real. The people of Sandy Hook, when they see this online they're not going to think it's very funny. I don't think it's very funny," he added.
Timmons was arrested and jailed on Tuesday after she admitted that she was responsible for causing the school-shooting prank. She is currently charged with disturbing schools.

Or just plain dumb! What she did was definitely NOT FUNNY! 

Imagine how her daughter must feel, knowing her own mother did this embarrassing thing where she works!
