Hey guys, I currently have a pair of yakima rollers/saddles on my roof rack. Thinking about getting a set of  j-rack saddles to transport 2 kayaks on my 2 door toyota coupe.

Found a previous thread that mentioned the TMS KAYAK-RK-J(1BOX) Universal Roof J Rack on amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003V57NUQ/ref=s9_simh_gw_p263_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0CPC512CB4ENNBJA4DVG&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846 )

Yakima hullraisers are pretty expensive :smt010

Does anyone have these TMS j-racks? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!

You should first consider if you can lift your kayak unassisted by yourself then go over your shoulders.  Thats what is going to take. Those saddles also create a lot of wind resistance.

I also have the yakima boatloader to assist me. I'll only be using the j-racks when I am carpooling with a buddy. So loading shouldn't be a problem.

I've heard that wind resistance is a big factor with these saddles, but I can't fit 2 kayaks lying down on my rack :(((
