I can get a discount on those Jimmy. Fucking pretty brazen in front of the house. Insurance will take care of it. They probably sawed it off eh?

That's the problem Craig the older yotas were just bolted in. All you need is a wrench and a little time. Super stealthy too.

Not sure what year saltys 4runner is but most of them in Oakland have already been hit.  :smt012

Apparently they have a fair amount of precious metal in them.

He has a later model Tundra. 2010 I think

Duh I should have read more carefully. Not sure where I got the 4runner from?

When I bought my used Tundra a few weeks ago, I crawled under it to take a look.  Both converters had a 3/4" thick cable attached to each converter, looped thru the frame & welded back together.  Asked why & the owner told me someone had already stolen them once, it wasn't going to happen again.  Not sure what, on the converter, the cable is attached to ... maybe a flange welded to the converter.

The only way it has value is if someone is willing to by the scrap.  There are millions of thieves.  There are a lot less recycle/scrap yards.

That sucks, Jim. Sorry to hear it. Bad people suck.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...
