Has anyone ever been there?  We're headed for a sailing trip in and around Tortuga in a few weeks.  I'll be sure to toss out some ballyhoos, plugs, or other trolling gear while we are under way.  Any suggestions on a "can't miss" item or event?  Pretty excited but have no idea what's out there.

I Haven't been to the BVI, but the reefs near St. John (USVI) were quite nice. Lots and lots of soft corals.  If I were to ever end up there again, I'd be sure to spend a lot of time diving. I also enjoyed hiking through the National Park on St John. Seeing the old ruins was pretty cool. I'm not sure if there is some sort of correllary open space in the BVI, but if so, I'd recommend some time exploring on shore as well.
