I came across the linked chart above for 'age/size-at-maturity' that might be of interest to some of you.

What I was actually looking for, however, was an 'age-at-size' index for some of the species I catch, since I'm hesitant to keep really old fish. Being an east coaster originally, I'm not used to these slow-growing cold water species. So, does anyone know a source, or even have rough anecdotal info for how old halis, lings, WSB, etc. are at certain keeper sizes? - Granted, that latitude/temps might have an influence on this relationship. I'll dig around some more on a species by species basis when I get some free time (it only hurts when I laugh), but wanted to see if someone could save me the trouble. Thanks.
Thanks fish!

not exactly what you needed and maybe you saw this already or have one already..this folding guide is also at outdoor world when they have them...or you can get one online...it has a simple picture with location migration size at maturity max length known and size at max...breeding and egg laying by age etc...all in the area of each picture..laminated and folds...great on the water and on the computer desk after a weekend of fishing...like 7 bucks for the folding guide

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

Thanks TL - looks like some useful merch on that site. I need to pick up Milton Love's new rockfish book that they have for sale. His other book "More Than you'll Ever Need to Know..." is informative and and entertaining. Unique. Heavy. I'll peruse that for some of the age/size info.
