Spent most of the day watching fish splash all over the place but they did not seem to want what we had to offer. Bottom fished for cat's with liver and brought in one nice cat. No quantity just quality.

Your fishing in my home lake.I usually troll it once or twice a week.only 5 min from my house.Try slow trolling a spinner with a 2 hook setup and a nightcrawler. Have caught trout and catfish with that setup.Have a 16ft alum with downriggers and electric trolling motors.Try shrimp or chicken livers at the top of horseshoe looking to the north shore about 50 ft off shore. Watch out for the christmas trees as you enter the area.Rainbowrunners and neddle fish work on the troll .

Mooch, Always fun.. I love this retirement(semi) thing, gives me lots of play time and with my new found fishing platform wow life hasn't been better. Yesterday was my 19 wedding anniversary and my wife is a jewel for letting me out. Frank

Raymac,
We need to get hooked up for this lake. I too am only a few minutes away living in the Alvarado district of Union  City. So please let me know when you go out there. Frank
