I have few salt water reels I need serviced. I don't mind shipping out my reels if the service is good but I was hoping to use a local shop in the Sacramento area.

Please let me know if you guys have any recommendation. Thank you.

Super nice guy & knows he's stuff.
He moved warehouse in South Sac (little scratchy area), but he service all my reels (including Avets) & usually done by next day.

Larry's reel repair.I use him very nice and does an excellent job.but hes not in sac.hes in vacaville if you call him he'll give you info on shipping and payment
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

There's a guy by the name of Marty Eck in Elk Grove he repaired both my garcias and put clickers on them  he's a honest good ole boy he's a little slow but real thorough if interested just pm me and I can get his # for ya

If you're crafty you can do it yourself. I usually follow Alan tani's guides and read up the schematics of the reel. Buying/sourcing the parts is usually the hardest part.
