Hi,

My name is Nishan. I've been lurking here for a year or so, alternating between this and the Capitola Fishing Report to drive myself crazy looking at the all the huge fish I want to someday catch. I live in Watsonville, and just got into kayak fishing last year. I got my first kayak, the 8' Crow Wing in the picture, and it's great for the kelp beds. I've caught a bunch of rock cod with it, but I'm still waiting to land for my first ling or halibut, hence the username. I've been reading up the posts on this site, and I have been improving my gear and preparation, so I'm confident this will be the year. I also got an awesome Pompano 120 for my birthday in September, so now I can get out to Mile Buoy or SC3 with ease.



I appreciate all the knowledge dropped on this site, and I'm glad to be a part of it now.

Tons of us in SC and Monterey Counties....once Rockcod opens back up there will be plenty of chances to get out and meet other guys.
