What are you looking for? I got some older Penns but it seems like others have offered those so.....what do you want?

I love the 3500 I have but could use the next size up.

Hello.
Older Pflueger reels in Purple boxes. Heddon lures, Creek Chub lures, Pflueger lures, South Bend lures. J.A. Coxe Saltwater reels. Hardy fly reels. If I feel its worth a bit more on my end I will pay a little difference . Penn I don't consider old or classic yet. I know some do but to many out there.

Thanks for your reply.

Will be at Santa Rosa in march with these at the old tackle swap . Would rather trade than sell but I know up there something will happen with these.  Please dig deep guys.

I have some Older mitchell/garcia salt spin cast reels? Some other old french made reels too. All are in working order and not banged up...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Those Look like they sell new for 89 ish bucks... 50 to 70 on Ebay... My Mitchells bring $80-100 each... New Okuma baitrunner $55  An in box balsa Heddon lure over 20yrs old brings 60-100 Lots of stuff laying around in lots of Garages... So what is the Cash price your looking for so folks can gauge what a fair trade would be??? :smt002

I would guess about 75.00 in trade. Each.  Lures have a wide range. Color, Condition, with a box, with a box with paperwork and the end stamped right. A lot of the ones advertised for sale is a asking price. I cant tell you how many times on E-BAY and Craigslist one sits there at the asking price for six months to a year. One in Sacramento I have tracked for 14 months at 59 bucks for two wooden lures that are beat up and even if perfect would fetch on a good day 10.00.

The Show in Santa Rosa is a good gauge of what is happening this way. If its marked for two days without reduction then packed up and drives back to say Washington what was it really worth. I have seen some for the past five years make such a journey.

Yes  some Heddons command what you said and some better. Depending on what the color and rigging is.  The Mitchells that bring better money are the Finger pick up bail with a roller in the Blue hues or the Brown hues.  I Figure if its sitting there and you don't need it its worth a swap for what you have. In 25 years I have seen trends move far right and left.
Great points you brought out.  Like Craigslist has a lot of Shimanos in beat up condition and the guys want 125.00 for them. But does that mean sale of it or repost.  Last 3 months ago I posted a Chainsaw here and traded it at Craigslist for some fair to middle range lures in a total around $300.00. Come to Santa Rosa and Check it out. There will be a lot of stuff there.
