San Pablo Reservoir 2/7/14

Decided to head out on opening day despite the ugly weather forecasts.
I got out there about 7AM and rented a kayak for the day.

Trolled a firetiger rapala towards scow canyon and got a nice hit for a 2 lber.

The water got super choppy once the winds picked up and i decided to bank from the shore since my kayak kept moving around everywhere.

Saw lots of people hit limits! I'm not surprised since I heard there were 8000 pounds of trout planted in the last few weeks.

I ended the day with 4 trout 1-2 lbs each.

I also ended the day soaking wet, since it rained all day LOL.

Maybe I'll head out again tmo 

Nice. Good job bro. I love that place, but it can get windy from time to time.

Yup I wanna hold out for a dawn patrol on a still lake and finesse me sum BASS

I'll be fishing in the tournament, but will be out of a boat.  4 Guys won't fit in my kayak!
