Hey NOKA

CA_Fish is a father son crew (The C is for Colby 12 and the A is for Allan) on a classic orange two man sit on top Pelican.  You may have seen us launched at Trinidad Huim-bay or nor cal lakes. We have had good times fishing trout rockfish and crab; and are looking to better equip the kayak and get out more for rockies remote access abalone (we already shore dive the abs) and spearfishing.  I post very little and mostly lurk for the latest news as CA-fish here on the HASA and NorCal Under Water Hunters sites as well.  Shoot back at this Post or Pm me if you like.

Let's all catch some dinner this weekend in and on the water.  -Allan

Thanks for all the great replies to my intro,

My son and I boated out of Trinidad Saturday 2/1 to set a crab pot near the bell buoy and run the crab ring.  Only hooped up two undersized crab to toss back, and left the pot to soak overnight. Sunday the ocean had kicked up more than predicted, so I left the kid at home and went to check conditions. the ocean turned out to be no problem with several other guys out as well.  The pot had one nice keeper and then three females that I tossed back.
