I purchased a 2010 Outback. Since I never upgraded the mirage drive, I have a few questions for the experts. First, I plan on finally upgrading to the turbo fins, and the rudder. Will the new fins and rudder fit the 2010 model, or do I have to shop for that year in particular?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Daniel.

The turbo fun upgrade should fit both old and new drives.

Tnks for the info so far, I need to figur out the difference between V1 and V2.  I think I have a V2, but I have not found any particular way to tell them apart.

Check the drive arms for the pedals. V1 should be solid aluminum and threaded for pedal attachment. V2 are hollow with pedal rod pressed in to top of shaft.

I believe you can buy an up grade for the V1 to except the V2 rods. And the sailing rudder up grade is a must!

Can the sailing rudder be easily installed? I really want this upgrade but don't want to mess with the pulley mechanisms

It's very simple:
