Hi all,

Bought a pair of the Thule kayak racks and installed them yesterday.  Since I already have the tie-down straps, I really don't need the ones that came with the rack systems.  So, there are two sets of straps (with Thule logo) and bumpers.

I am not asking anything for them, but feel free to make a donation to NCKA to pay it forward.

I can meet you either in Benicia during the workdays and evenings in Walnut Creek.

Sorry, I will not be going to the Crab fest.  However, if you know someone who live or work near me and going to the Crab fest, we can work it out.

Dave

I will take them. I work in Oakland and live in Suisun. I am sure we can meet up somewhere.

Damn,
I could really use the bow / stern ratchets.
Vic, if you don't use them, let me know ;0)
Also, does anyone know where to get just the ratchets (center items in pic above)?

Home Depot has a very similar item.  I have the Thule "Quick Draws" and they're great but I think the ones at Home Depot are the same thing.

I keep a spare set of straps in my car incase I break one or need to haul an extra kayak. Who knows, you might win the eddyline at crab fest. My buddy Ken says it's 50% mental.

+1 on the spare straps in the car.  You can even help out a fellow kayaker who wins a kayak and doesn't have enough straps to get it home.
