Here are pictures of my new installation on my Prowler 13.  It is a 3 rod holder from West marine with a pin through eye bolts at either end.

I wanted my tank well unobstructed.  I am finding it works great.

My tackle is next to my left knee in a small soft carrier that is secured to my seat strap.

I troll from the flushmounts usually or my forward rod holder on rare occasions.  This three rod holder holds things waiting to be used.  If I am fully armed, the three rod holder slots contain my net, back up rod/reel and the sabiki rod/reel.  As I use them or anticipate using them, they get moved into the flushmounts or forward.

I've been meaning to post this since you started this thread but had to take the photos etc.  Since I am not fishing till tomorrow I have time today.  I simply used two hose clamps to attach two 1-foot by 1-1/4 inch ABS with bottom caps (drilled for drainage) to the two straps on the back of my seat rest.  If I pull the straps snug, there is practically no wobble.  I have an old Scrambler that is smaller than many fishing yaks so I try to keep things light and simple.  Bungees keep the club, gaff, stringer, lip gripper attached and are also available to strap down rods and net for rough landings.

Funny.....................

I too attached a single rod holder to the back of my seat.  In my case, I used nylon ties.  It is the "holdster" for my lip grip.
