I picked up a used 2012 PA12 yesterday! Im pretty excited to say the least. What would you buy first to outfit this...... the must haves for it? The PA already has the track mounting system on it as well as the H-Bar.

Thanks!
Andy

You'll probably want a forklift or pallet jack to load/unload that beast!  :smt005  :smt005 Congrats on the new boat. You'll want the Turbo fins and bigger rudder for sure. A couple of rod holders and go fishing!  Figure out what you need/want after fishing a few times.  You'll know what you need when you don't have it on the water.  Good luck.

You can find lots of info on the Hobie forum site here;

Lots of threads on what guys have done to outfit their PA.  But first, make sure you are outfitted with a PFD, radio if you are going on the ocean, a cart or wheels to roll it to-from the parking lot.

Thanks the for all the advice. I do have the turbo fins. The bigger rudder is on my list. I went to bass pro shops today to look around. I have a few ideas but I would really like to take advantage of the track mounting system. It they don't sell anything for that there. I have a fishing buddy fish finder from my pontoon boat that I am going to use for awhile. I guess I'm gonna start off with a couple of rod holders and take her out and take some notes.
This is gonna get fun!!

Congrats on the new ride. You will be the only one who knows where things should go. Search the net only for ideas. Take her out a few times to see if those ideas will work for you. I bought my first yak 2 years ago and I'm still constantly moving crap.

Fish first - multiple times, before doing any drilling or mounting. I like Yak Attack tracks

Congrats on the new ride!  As others mentioned, get that thing on the water and learn the ins/outs first.  Bring along a sharpie and mark where things 'would' be nice.  Fishfinder location, rod holder locations/etc.  Start simple, and keep it that way.  :smt001

Lot's of access for that track.  Combine with a RAM ball in there & you're options are almost limitless.  FF/GPS will be on your wish list i'm sure.

As a 2012, I THOUGHT it should have come with Turbo fins?  No?
