Saltwater is the cure for everything that ails us,
sweat, tear or the sea.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Its early on Sunday and instead of fishing, I'll be pimping my new Maruader again today. Besides gettin' it sweet I am booking major WAF credit which I'll be using for Stripers soon enough.

Thanks for sharing those little humorous events that make us smile when we are out there. Fiesty little predator--even puts Largemouth Bass to shame on that "eyes are bigger than your stomach" decision to strike. Reminds me of the time I snagged a Silver-side fishing a Clouser Minnow streamer on my 9-wt though a school of bait. It was a little dazed but lightly hooked and as I released it, a 4-inch LMB can up and tried to swallow it. I thought the little Bass was going to choke on it. It stuggled for 10 minutes finally getting it all in (somewhere in there). reminded me of the vidoe I've seen of Pythons swallowing pigs it was that slow. Amazing. The little fish was lucky a bigger Bass didn't see the struggle or it would have grabbed a two-fer.

I think the moderators should consider two things: 1) smallest of species micro-catch tourney for fresh and salt water--no netting they have to be caught and landed in the standard way and 2) Mooch needs to start a smallest fish photo category. Its a shame you didn't get a sharper picture, I think you'd have the Gopher/rockfish category locked up for this year :smt005
