I have the green light from the wife to take him in the ocean this year/ as long as hes dressed propperly. Anyone selling a small wetsuit? Hes 37 inches tall and 32 pnds hopefully a bit bigger by june. Hes a pro in the kayak already, been paddling since he could sit upright. Any help? Pm me?

There is usually some good deals to be found at Sports Authority & sometimes West Marine stores on the smaller, kids suits.

Most of what I found was shorty only too.  Might have to pony up to O'Neill's for a full suit.

I am contemplating contacting Kokatat to see if they have a Jr. Dry suit.  Maybe something where the legs and arms have snaps to make them shorter until they can grow into them.  Seems like you could get 5 years out of it by doing that.  The neck gasket could be made small to start and cut to be a bigger hole as needed?

Give Sub Surface Progression in Ft Bragg a call.
I bought my sons wetsuit there when he was 7, I think.
They exchanged it the next year because he grew a bit. For $20 I got a brand new suit.
A year or two later they did a straight across trade for a used suit that fit him.
I recall they had a decent selection of wetsuit for kids.
Can't hurt to call.

Yeah, ran into the same issues--mostly shorties or $$$ full body. Aquan Sports had both new and used.

I sent Kokatat an email.  Here is the response.

Hi Eric,

Thank you for choosing Kokatat products!  The smallest suits we make are in the youth medium size.  We do make a few jackets and pants for kids in the small size, but at 3 years old, your girls may still be a little small for them.  I will pass on your suggestion for a suit that can grow with a child to our design team for future consideration.  As a suggestion for the meantime, when my dad decided I was ready for higher quality outdoor gear, he would use self-adhesive Velcro to shorten the arms or legs until I grew into the size.

Cheers,
