Thanks for the fun link.  My wife's car has an antenna sticking out in the middle/rear of the roof.  It used to look cool, but now I hate it since it is just in the way of loading my kayak.

You took the center mounted radio antenna off your car roof to transport your boat, never put the antenna back and don't care if you listen to the radio, cause you prefer to be ready to load the yak at a moment's notice!

LOL, a lot of those apply.  The center roof antenna was replaced with a shorty, then it broke off....meh
