I took my kayak out to HMB- she seems to favor port rudder.
Starboard is not as sharp.
Has anyone else has this problem ?
At first I thought I had fixed it by pulling down my rudder a second time but it still does not work as well as port.
Tips?
Ken

You need to adjust your rudder cables.

I have had this happen more then once, usually after I wasn't paying attention and rudder touched bottom. I would move rudder control back and forth quickly several times until whatever cable was hung up loosened up, although one time I had to take cover off of rudder, cable had slipped out become lodged between cover and pulley.

Have to adjust the lines. Try kayak  connection in SC if you dont want to tackle it yourself.

Adjust the lines. Drop the rudder and center it. Loosen the screws which keep the lines tight, pull the lines tight while rudder is centered then retighten screws, done.
