Late start but amazing conditions out on the Bay.  Crystal clear water.  Only went a quarter mile or so outside the kelp and there are so many fish.  Caught 4 ~20 inch ling, and almost brought in a brute that somehow let go at the surface.  Lots of rockfish out there too.  Went into the kelp outside lighthouse field and caught my first cabazon!!!  Watched it strike the water is so clear...17 inches of pig...amazing fish.  Everybody went back in the water.  Beautiful day.

Peace

Awesome Day.  who woulda thought?  Not windy??

I crabbed and we had some early morning wind.  Maybe it was the morning offshore that died out.  WTG on the nice haul and esp the C and R!

Correction...Dragon Pig!  The breeze did get somewhere between 3 and 6 knots...just enough to make the drift pleasant.  It was glassy again this evening after 4:30.

Peace
