So I've got yer standard Malone cart with the dinky wheels. Was wanting to upgrade to the bigger, fat ones. Then I started to wonder if I could just put the ballon wheelez on it. Seems like an sost identical cart.
So I guess my question is: anyone ever tried that? Does it work?

And a follow up question, if you don't mind.
Are the fat Malone wheels any good?

Thanks.

The wheeleze wheels are pretty pricey themselves even if they fit perfect.  You might be better off selling the Malone cart and buying a Wheeleze cart. After fussing with home made carts, even one with the 30cm fat wheeleze tires I threw in the towel and bought the wheeleze cart.

What's the general take on the Malone rovers?
Wheelez can't be the only game in town.

yes, it does.
he now uses wheeleez beach wheels for a reason.
I don't think the malone frame can take the wheeleez balloon tires because the axle is not long enough.  I might be wrong but I remember someone telling me that before they bought the wheeleez....

This is true. The wider wheels require a longer axel.

I actually have a spare set of the rover wheels. I have a cart with them on it as a back up and for non beach launches. They work fine for solid surface and right sand. But if you take them in deep soft sand forget it. If your interested let me know. I will let them go for $60
