WTB iPod, cheap

Anybody have an iPod and dock, they don't use anymore?  I'm looking to get an iPod and dock to use with my home sound system.  With all of the iPads , and smart phones these days, I thought someone might have an iPod not being used.  I think it's time to retire my CD changer.  I need the player and the dock so I can have it plugged in to AC power while connected to a USB port on the receiver.

The I pod I think you can get one on ebay for pretty cheap depending on the model you want.check the black friday deals.ipods don't cost as much as they use to.as far as the reciver dock I'm sure they don't cost anymore than 20 $ bucks or they shouldn't.good luck with your search

U can use any smart phone in lieu of an iPod. Don't u have an iPad as well? You can use an auxiliary plug connected to the receiver and your device's headphone port.

My receiver has a USB port that supports the ipod controls with the receiver's remote control.  It works with my Ipad but I'm looking for something to leave connected to the receiver more permanently.  When I use the Ipad, the battery life is an issue and I use the Ipad for lots of other things.  The same port will also play MP3s from a flash drive.  I'm thinking I may not need anything else since I have a bunch of flash drives laying around.  Thanks for the input.
